Challenge
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is responsible for food safety policy, regulation and enforcement across the UK. The FSA wished to change their approach to consumers, the way they were seen by the industry and to encourage their staff to live and breathe the FSA brand every day. To this end, they were looking for a complete rebrand and extensive guidelines to implement the changes.
Response
Focusing on the much-needed human element, brand guidelines covering a clear brand architecture, versatile graphics, key sector photography, tone-of-voice and social media was developed. The brand worked effectively across wide-ranging needs and audiences and also included an engaging suite of office graphics that were rolled out across their London, York and Birmingham offices to encourage staff engagement.
