Challenge
The University of Reading needed a visual identity for the introduction of their new part-time student jobs service. Its aim was to simplify recruiting student workers across the University’s numerous admin and academic departments. By standardising and simplifying the way students were employed on campus, it would create a flexible, time saving, one-stop shop for part-time campus jobs.
Response
Developing the visual identity based around the core proposition: “Campus Jobs work for you”, the logo developed highlighted the connected nature of the service and the colour palette and related patterns helped provide impact and consistency. In the first four weeks of the campaign, 3,889 individual students signed up, vastly outstripping demand.
